As the evidence against Felicity Newman mounts, the stars of Home and Away have teased more turns in Tane Parata’s mystery attack story.

After being followed and receiving mystery flowers, Tane (Ethan Browne) has grown sure that someone is stalking him, and his recent fling Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) is the prime suspect after Tane rejected her amorous attempts.

A fundraising event took a hazardous turn when a chemical attack was launched through the air conditioning, leaving Tane in serious condition, as seen in scenes that have already aired in Australia and will air in November in the UK.

According to TV Week, while Tane is on his deathbed, his nephew Nikau Parata (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) becomes persuaded that Felicity is the perpetrator of the heinous attack and launches a web campaign against her.

This campaign soon sparks a graffiti attack, as Felicity discovers that the words ‘Toxic Felicity’ have been daubed across her caravan.

“Felicity is feeling stressed, isolated and anxious,” actress Jacqui told TV Week. “She feels like the whole world is against her. But she’s staying strong and is trying to get through this hard time with pure grit, as Felicity does.”

Felicity decides to go to the police station to report the graffiti, and while she’s there, she notices her new friend Anne (Megan Smart) leave, having just confessed to Detective Nasser (Julian Maroun) that she lied about being with Felicity at the time of the attack.

Nasser discovers a bottle of the same pills that were used to knock out Tane when the authorities perform a new search of Felicity’s caravan. Felicity, terrified, insists that she is being set up for the crime, but Nasser drags her away, leaving Felicity’s police officer brother Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright) helpless to watch.

Cash desperately wants to believe in his sister, but he’s taken aback when a toxicology report confirms the relationship between Felicity and Tane, and he can’t help but question if he’s been wrong about her.

“Cash wants to believe Flick when she says she’s been set up, but there are just too many red flags for him to be able to back her completely,” actor Nicholas said.

Felicity, desperate for help, approaches Anne once more. Felicity later finds that Nikau’s webpage references a burned pesticides receipt, which is a truth that only a few individuals are aware of. This makes her worry if the assailant is someone closer to her than she thought, and she’s desperate for answers.

Is Felicity on the verge of discovering the truth? Felicity could soon find out who was behind the attack, according to the latest promo for the drama, and there could be a major surprise in store…
