Coronation Street has seen disturbing scenes occurring between Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) and Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King). The magician had been mentally abusing, gas-lighting, and manipulating his partner for several months behind closed doors. However, residents of Weatherfield are not the wiser since the master manipulator is all smiling in public. Geoff's actions will soon reach a horrific peak as he is committing his most vile act yet against Yasmeen.
Viewers have seen Geoff placing hidden cameras around the house, removing bank cards from Yasmeen, telling her that she is an alcoholic, and locking her in a box.
Things are going to get worst as Yasmeen has not cooked the dinner for her husband on time. Providing him a vegetable plate after she couldn't afford to buy meat, Yasmeen cowers when her husband drops the face. Afterward, she finds solace outside with her chickens–but Geoff may be preparing to snatch one comfort from her.
' It's fair to say that tonight, viewers will be surprised by how cruel he can be – and it could very much split Yasmeen and begin the next chapter of the story as his true colors start to unfurl and his mask slips.
