General Hospital spoilers leak Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) made it out of Wyndemere — without being caught — by the skin of her teeth.
But she left behind a critical piece of information that could link the break-in back to her if she’s not careful. If her DNA is found on the red glove that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) stumbled upon, she’s going to have a lot to answer to.
Still, explaining why she was there isn’t the hardest part. Fooling everyone into believing she wants her memories back will be. Is it possible that Laura will see through it all, and if so, will she decide to give Esme yet another chance and protect her from public persecution?
General Hospital Spoilers — A Minor Break-In
The fact that Ava Jerome (Maura West) arrived at the island that evening brandishing a gun was all too convenient. This would have been a whole different tale if she had grabbed Esme at the perfect moment.
An agitated For being nothing more than a trespasser, Ava had the right to murder the young mother. Rather, Esme left without drawing attention to herself, but the same cannot be said for her lone mitten.
Laura didn’t appear to notice the glove straight away, but she might arrive too soon and end up piecing together Esme’s elaborate stories without anyone else knowing.
GH Spoilers Spill Laura Knows It All
When Laura finds out that Esme spent the entire Christmas Eve with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) without giving any meaningful notice, she will begin to piece things together.
It was unexpected of her to call him to let him know that she wouldn’t be coming to pick Ace up after all.
This could make Laura believe that Esme needed some time to gather herself after experiencing something painful or unpleasant that evening; this would be the only plausible explanation for why Laura could imagine Esme being reluctant to spend Ace’s first Christmas morning apart from him.
Will Laura draw hasty judgements, or may the glove prove useful when she discovers who is its match?
General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Remains Clueless
Laura would be very kind to let Esme get through this without realising that she broke into Wyndemere. Furthermore, Laura would naturally prefer to stay out of the spotlight about a potentially meaningless matter.
Perhaps her purpose in being there was to try to jog her memory, but it didn’t work. In any case, Laura is the kind of person who would offer someone enough rope to hang themselves repeatedly in the hopes that it would give them another opportunity to act honourably.
Is Esme truly transformed enough to take such an action, though?
