General Hospital Spoilers reveal Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) made a mad dash for the door when she met up with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and he started touting their past as some sort of everlasting bond that meant they might belong together now.

Lucy was taken aback by Scott’s too-kind words and quickly showed herself to the door. But something tells us Scott isn’t going to stop there —- and his words will be ringing in Lucy’s head for months to come as her relationship with Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) hits the skids. Will we see these former lovebirds reunite and ride off into the sunset?

General Hospital Spoilers — Meant For Each Other?

Setting aside our emotions, let’s look at the data. Are Scott and Lucy really meant to be together? On the response, fans appear to be divided. To be honest, even if it’s not in their best interests, there are those among us who can’t wait to see them reunited.

Although these two have continued to be excellent friends and co-parents over the years, they haven’t been anything more for a while. Lucy could find it hard to imagine returning along that path.

However, Lucy might just feel at home if she were to spend time with Scott once more.

GH Spoilers Say Obrecht Deflects

Remember that Scott isn’t single in the interim. Though he technically still has a lady love, he’s searching for her replacement.

But he was very clear in telling Lucy that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) had been ignoring him, calling him infrequently, and showing no interest in their relationship.

Will Obrecht let Scott know when it’s finally over? Following the passing of Kelly Thiebaud’s character Britt Westbourne about a year ago, haven’t these two been dragging around long enough?

General Hospital Spoilers — Lucy’s Head Is Spinning

Lucy wishes she could erase every word that left Scott’s mouth, but she will never be able to. Although she has an excellent commitment to Marty, she is not immune to change, especially as Scott turns into a support system for her after Marty breaks her heart.

Is Blair Kramer’s (Kassie DePaiva) relationship with Marty going to come to light soon, triggering the next global conflict between Lucy and him?

That would be the perfect opportunity for Scott to console her and become her best friend, or maybe more.
