On the Australian serial, the 31-year-old actress portrays Mackenzie Booth, who just began hosting illegal poker nights in order to pay off her debts.
Teasing a “dangerous” conclusion to the storyline, Emily recently told Inside Soap: “It affects all pockets of the Bay.
“All the storylines intersect with the build-up and fallout. Essentially it all begins with Mackenzie’s debt, so it takes the Bay by storm.”
Mackenzie has recently opened out about her real-life difficulties with alcohol, which led to her seeking professional help.

Bikini snaps
Emily made waves last March when she was photographed on Sydney’s Palm Beach filming scenes for Home and Away.
In 2019, the actress joined the soap, which is shown on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom, and flaunted her washboard abs and amazing physique in the scenes.
Emily is also renowned for posting hot bikini photos to her Instagram account.
On the social media platform, she has 109k followers.
Alcoholism
Emily stunned fans earlier this year when she revealed she had previously suffered with drinking.
Last month, the sober actress revealed that she became “dependent” on alcohol in her early twenties and sought help from AA and a counsellor to quit drinking.
She told Who Magazine: “I was self-medicating with red wine, but I managed to hide it all really well.
“I ignored the issue because I wanted to travel and party with my friends, like most people in their early 20s.
“I started drinking more at that time because it combated the anxiety and all my fears dissipated. But I became reliant on booze.”
Emily later claimed that she spoke out in the hopes of alerting others to the fact that the problem is more widespread than they may realise and that it may “impact anyone.”
She added: “I’m passionate about shining that light on something that affects so many of us.”
Chic home
While Mackenzie’s Home and Away life is frantic, Emily’s aesthetic at home is more tranquil.
The actress has chosen to live in a modern Australian home with a pleasant neutral colour scheme.
The star’s bedroom is decorated in cream and brown and has an all-white kitchen with matching white appliances.
In a tribute to her past troubles, the actress is claimed to have a large chest of drawers covered in photos of her family and friends, as well as storm-themed artwork.
