Harper reconstructs her exchange with Felicity. Harper finds solace in a stroll with Tane, but when Roo, Irene, and Marilyn provide a dire warning regarding Felicity, Harper concludes it’s time to break things off. She will maintain her distance since she doesn’t want to exacerbate the situation between Tane and his ex-wife.
Tane makes an appeal and says he won’t let his ex to rule his life. He looks forward to seeing Harper alone right now, and they could both use a companion.
Rose is distracted by her phone and Theo is preoccupied by the falling wedding preparations, thus Rose and Kirby’s drinks are derailed in the meanwhile. Kirby’s encouragement to keep working on the love song only makes Theo feel worse, but it inspires Rose to suggest album ideas to Lyrik, and they both overindulge in alcohol.
The following morning, Rose and Kirby wake up to a loud phone alarm, and Theo returns to Leah and Justin’s. When Rose is dragged away to visit Mali, Kirby’s attempt to cook something fails, and when she is eventually by herself, she opens her lyrics book to a startlingly blank page.
In another scene, after discovering that Leah has cancelled the wedding, Roo contacts Leah to see how she is doing. However, this lets Leah know that Justin has broken his pledge and mentioned her behind her back.
When Leah storms into the garage, Justin is helpless. When he suggests that they seek professional assistance, Leah becomes enraged. There won’t be a ceremony, marriage, or wedding. She has no desire to wed Justin at all.
Justin decides against pounding on her bedroom door to have a conversation, but Leah is terrified when she feels his presence.
Theo arrives the following morning to witness Leah’s annoyance. Her icy attitude raises concerns for Roo and Irene when she goes back to work. As Leah enters the garage, her warped reality seems to suggest that Justin is attempting to trick her and has been in communication with the cult that caused them trauma. Convinced that her ex-fiance is about to betray her, Leah stuffs her belongings into an overnight bag as Justin shows up at the Diner hoping to find her.
