Theo (Matt Evans), Leah’s (Ada Nicodemou) nephew, has lately arrived in the Bay and made an effect on numerous individuals – but one, in particular, is Chloe (Sam Barrett), and he doesn’t seem to mind when she tells him she has a boyfriend.
While Chloe is working at the Diner, Theo tries to captivate her, but she isn’t having it. However, an unconcerned Leah suggests that Chloe take Theo about the Bay, forcing them to spend more time together.
Later, Chloe discovers Ryder (Lukas Radovich) sleeping in the Board Shop and advises him to rest at home. He toughs it out, though, since he wants to stay loyal and aid Dean’s (Patrick O’Connor) business. Theo scoffs as he arrives at the Diner to assist Chloe with dinner prep for the night — this is your boyfriend, really?
Chloe, on the other hand, ignores Theo’s remark that she could do so much better, informing him that Ryder is doing three jobs to aid his friends — how many jobs does he have? Ryder falls asleep at home after Chloe advises him to get some rest.
Chloe is waiting for Ryder to arrive so they can do the deliveries in the morning, but he is nowhere to be found. Theo arrives in his automobile and offers to assist her. Chloe first refuses, but when she can’t reach Ryder, she realises she doesn’t have a choice and climbs into his car.
Is Theo’s strategy for getting closer to Chloe starting to bear fruit?
