Ada Nicodemou, star of Home and Away, suffered a back injury that left her in “excruciating pain”.

Following the incident last year, the actress, 46, who is best known for portraying Leah Patterson on the Australian soap opera since 2000, was instructed to recuperate at home and was forced to leave filming. Ada used Instagram at the time to share with her followers the incident that rendered her unable to walk.

She began by describing a “funny thing happened” before going into further detail regarding her injury. Ada revealed that she had woken up early to go to the gym, but that her sneeze had left her in excruciating discomfort.

The soap opera star stated, “I woke up Thursday morning, quite early, to go to the gym, and I sneezed.” “I was hurting so badly. I was unable to move and perform any tasks.”

Ada went on, “I was essentially required to lie flat on my back. I believe I have a bulging disc because of something I did. Good for me for sneezing because I can’t feel my leg anymore and I have no idea when it will heal.”

Ada was instructed to rest for the next few days by the doctors because she was unable to walk. However, it was obvious that her time at home was boring since she asked her fans to recommend books and TV shows.

The single mother captioned a selfie she took in bed, writing, “Didn’t know a sneeze could cause so much damage.” It has been advised that I should relax and take it easy till I recover. Would you recommend any TV series or books to me? To prevent myself from going crazy, I need advice.”

Leah’s trauma has taken over in the last three weeks as she continues to deal with the fallout from being abducted and presumed dead by a cult. Because of her warped perception of reality, Leah thought that Justin (James Stewart) was involved with a cult. As a result, on Monday, February 19, she made a knife threat on her ex-fiance.

The tense confrontation was carried over into Tuesday’s (February 20) episode of the Channel 5 soap opera, when Justin’s love interest kept him at knifepoint. Before Justin could calm Leah down, Theo (Matt Evans) entered and begged his aunt to put down the knife.
