Ellie has been falling for her co-star Bobby Brazier ever since she won the Glitterball Trophy on Strictly Come Dancing, but now her ex has returned and apologized. It was revealed that her former partner, Reagan Pettman, had cheated on her while she was on the show.
According to insiders who spoke with OK!, the former Coronation Street star’s friends and family are now worried about her as she struggles with having her private life so widely known. According to them, her confidence was “knocked” following their breakup, but her time on Strictly helped her regain it.
“So, she was genuinely astonished when he revealed everything and declared that he wanted her back. Her relatives and friends are concerned about her.”
Reagan, 22, said in an interview with The Sun that he “hurt” Ellie and “broke her heart” when he kissed a different girl in a nightclub while intoxicated. His five-year relationship with the actress ended as a result of this disclosure.
“It sounds cliché but I was really drunk and it all happened at once,” stated the man. “I knew what I had done was wrong and instantly regretted it.”
“I made the error of giving in to influence. I am not proud of the hurt I caused her. I caused her grief.”
Reagan and Ellie started dating when they were sixteen years old. After Reagan kissed another female in a pub in March of last year, they broke up. He held off on telling Ellie about it for four months.
Ellie poured herself into Strictly after quitting Coronation Street, where she had been Faye Windass since she was nine.
