This week on Neighbours, there will be anxiety as concerns are addressed, accusations are made, and one pair must learn to let go.

Aaron (Matt Wilson) and David (Takaya Honda) are faced with the most difficult duty any new parent can imagine: saying goodbye to their child. How will they handle this emotional test, given how fragile their relationship is already?

Hendrix (Benny Turland) is going through a similar ordeal, but for a different cause. He convinces himself that he is dying after his prostate cancer test. He’s having a hard time dealing with it and starts acting out, but will anybody notice?

There appears to be a ray of hope beaming through the gloom that is Toadie’s (Ryan Moloney) and Mel’s (Lucinda Cowden) relationship. Can these two eventually come to an agreement? Hopefully, because she’ll need his help if she’s accused of something nefarious.

And, much to Sheila’s joy, Amy (Jacinta Stapleton), Levi (Richie Morris), and Ned (Ben Hall) take their relationship to new heights.

Here’s what’s coming up next in Neighbours.

When a couple gets together, they form a trio

Amy is moving into her new home and is looking forward to celebrating with her lovers, but they disappoint her and she ends up spending her first night in the flat alone. They feel guilty and try to make amends by hosting a housewarming party, but due to their lack of event organising abilities, no one shows up. Amy is devastated once more, so the boys devise a new strategy that includes only the three of them – and Amy’s bed. When Sheila discovers the two boys stayed over, she doesn’t keep it to herself, and the rumour spreads.

Amy is really uneasy about her sex life being a major topic after she brags about it around town. Is the tyranny over before it even starts?

Fears about Jimi Hendrix’s death due to cancer

Mackenzie has a feeling something is wrong with Hendrix, but he won’t say what it is. He’s going insane, and it’s all because he’s convinced himself that he’s dying of cancer despite the fact that he hasn’t received the appropriate findings. Will Mackenzie be able to persuade him to change his mind?

Mel gets a point from Toadie

Mel and Toadie’s relationship has been difficult, but one simple act from her might salvage their relationship. Mel is confronted with a potentially unpleasant question, and she swings into action without hesitation, handling it like a pro. Toadie is blown away by her fast thinking and gives her another googly-eyed stare. Can they finally make things work now that Cupid has hit them a second time?

Roxy was hurt as a result of Hendrix’s self-destruction

Roxy is a victim of Jimi Hendrix’s downward spiral. While Susan and Karl try to persuade Hendrix not to drop out, he decides to keep them at bay by going out with Roxy. Roxy is shoved to the ground and suffers a twisted ankle as his out-of-hand antics intensifies. Kyle is enraged and lashes out at Hendrix, who, already under duress, snaps and discloses what’s actually been going on.

Mel has been accused of stealing

Mel may be friends with Toadie, but she’s going to fall out of favour with Karl. He accuses her of sneaking the film festival prize money she promised she’d placed on his table into her back pocket when he can’t locate it. Melanie expresses her displeasure at the charge and expresses her outrage. Between these two, the air becomes quite chilly.

Aaron and David had to say their final goodbyes

Aaron and David spend their first significant amount of time with newborn Isla, and things don’t go as planned. They can’t seem to bond with her since she won’t settle. They’re both frazzled, and they realise they might not be able to accomplish it after all. They are obliged to pay a visit to the Willis residence where Terese is babysitting after hearing Abigail sobbing. They volunteer to help Terese since she has a drama at the Waterhole that she needs to attend, and they wind up spending a lot of time with the young child. When Leo and Britney return and discover them with the baby, they are not happy.

They decide it’s time to move on and learn how to negotiate their new parental duties away from Ramsay Street, which means Aaron and David must let Abigail go.

They console one other as they say their sorrowful goodbyes, but the duo is about to face a new challenge.

Scenes will begin airing on Channel 5 on Monday, October 11th.
