For fans of Home and Away, the relationships formed between their favourite characters are extremely important. As a result, it’s incredible to see how long the bonds formed between the cast members of the hit soap have lasted.

Some of the show’s on-screen friends and partners, such as Lincoln Younes, Samara Weaving, and Kassandra Clementi, have formed connections that look to last a lifetime!

Indeed, the current ensemble of Home And Away has strong bonds, with actress Sophie Dillman characterising her close relationship with the cast and staff as “family.”

“It’s like a family,” Sophie, who portrays Ziggy on the programme, told us last year after spending eight weeks away from the set when they weren’t filming.

“We spend at least 12 hours a day together, so we’re all really close. On this shoot, everyone gets along like a house on fire. And I’m so grateful because if we didn’t, we’d kill each other,” she added.

We take a look at the finest H&A friendships of all time as the programme celebrates its 33rd birthday this year.

When Nicholas Cartwright joined the group in June, Sam Frost greeted him with open arms, posting a photo of the actor on her Instagram stories alongside a beautiful note complimenting his work ethic.

“We’re excited to welcome @_nicholas_cartwright_ to Summer Bay tonight. Nic is a breath of fresh air, to be honest “She started. “He has an epic sense of humour and is such a selfless and generous actor. We only connect with each other through memes, which is exactly as it should be. We think you’re fantastic.”

While Sam has denied that they are dating, the two enjoy hanging out and sharing a laugh when they are not on duty.

Sam captioned a lovely Instagram image with three photos of them standing with their drinks and smiling from ear to ear “We’re pretty much the same person, right? Except that I’m a lot funnier.”

Lynne McGranger is taking advantage of Sydney’s lockdown by spending time with her “little pal,” Courtney Miller, and their bond extends beyond a stroll around the park. Outside of their roles as Irene Roberts and Bella Nixon on Home And Away, the actors have been seen together quite a bit recently.

Lynne, 68, posted this photo of them together on Instagram on Tuesday, labelling it, “#covidwalks with my little pal @courtney ally #freshair #sunshine #catchups.”

Lynne shared another adorable behind-the-scenes selfie with Courtney from the set of Summer Bay just two weeks ago. She captioned the photo, “Playing in the Bay with my girlie @courtney_ally

Courtney then posted the photo to her own Instagram account, adding, “I’m a lucky gal.”

Lynne isn’t the only Home And Away cast member with whom Courtney has a sweet connection. In June, a large number of Summer Bay regulars attended the 26-year-art old’s display, with many of them sharing photos from the occasion.

Georgie Parker shared this adorable photo of her castmates on Instagram, writing, “It was a fun night with my castmates.” Sam Frost, Emily Weir, Sophie Dillman, and Patrick O’Connor were among those who showed up to support Courtney.

Come together, Alf and Sally! It’s been 13 years since Kate Ritchie left Home And Away, but the 42-year-old and her former co-star Ray Meagher are still as close as ever. The two met for a friendly lunch at trendy Sydney restaurant Bistro Rex in Potts Point just this week.

“Who’d have guessed this Campbelltown kid would still be having lunch with this Roma kid? We did it again today, and it was, as usual, soul food.

#1987 #2021, #loveyouray #andyoutoogilly #lifelongfriends “Along with this sweet snap, Kate penned a note.

Since her departure from the programme in 2008, the two have remained close friends. Ray even made a surprise appearance on her radio show for a special reunion.

The best of both worlds! Luke Jacobz and his girlfriend Raychel Stuart recently joined current Home And Away actors and real-life couple Paddy O’Connor and Sophie Dillman to attend a Swans AFL game.

“What a group to watch with,” Luke shared.

Luke and Paddy aren’t hesitant to have a good laugh with one other.

Paddy joked next to this selfie, “Bill and Ben the Flower Pot Men.”

Georgie Parker, who portrays Roo Stewart on the programme, and Ditch Davey, who portrays Dr Christian Green, went on a lunch date this week.

Georgie captioned this adorable photo, “Lunch with the good Doctor

“Obviously, my partner is on set with me, and it’s amazing to work with him,” Sophie Dillman said of her relationship with co-star Patrick O’Connor, before adding that the Channel 7 drama has also helped foster connections with numerous “excellent girlfriends.”

“Emily Weir (Mackenzie Booth) and Courtney Miller (Bella Nixon) are two of my really close girlfriends,” the actress said.

Penny McNamee and James Stewart’s depiction of the Morgan siblings has solidified the pair’s off-screen connection.

Last October, the actress paid a sweet tribute to James on his birthday, emphasising their friendship. “@jamesstewart, I’d want to wish you a happy birthday from another mother. Jimbo, you make my workdays so much fun. Thank you for your wonderful friendship, wise counsel, unwavering support, and ALL THE LAUGHING!! You have always been and will always be’my person’ in the hallways of Summer Bay. Xxx, “‘At the time,’ she wrote.

Paddy O’Connor and Ada Nicodemou are friends despite not having filmed many scenes together.

“Even though we work on the same show, we don’t do a lot of scenes together @paddy.oco @homeandaway,” Ada captioned a photo of herself and Patrick, who plays Dean on the show, on Instagram.

Real-life roommates: Sam Frost and Maddy Jevic are the pinnacle of friendship goals, not just because they live together but also because they frequently upload amusing TikTok videos of their antics on social media.

In an interview with TV WEEK about joining Home And Away, Maddy stated that she quickly became friends with Sam, whom she described as “wonderful.”

“It’s really a hoot – everything you see is so real, and we [the actors] get along so well.”

What a fantastic bromance! Since Ditch Davey joined the programme, James Stewart and Ditch Davey have become strong friends.

“He’s a great professional who’s also witty and well-spoken. We’ve gotten along swimmingly. I now have a friend, and I’m quite delighted about it “James revealed their friendship to New Idea.

“I communicate with Kate [Ritchie], Tessa James, and a few of the crew members on a regular basis. They’re such a wonderful group of folks. You create these bonds and refuse to let go of some of them “Last year, we asked Jodi Gordon, who portrayed Martha MacKenzie, who she kept in touch with from the show.

Although Johnny Ruffo left the show in 2016, he remains close friends with co-star Lynne McGranger.

“Every other week, I see Lynne McGranger,” he stated of his former co-star. The pair met through their shared love of the Australian Football League, and they now have a sweet tradition with their respective teams in which the loser owes dinner to the winner.

On-screen and off, Sam Frost and Sarah Roberts are great friends. Sam captioned a lovely photo of the two on Sarah’s birthday: “My Sar Bear is my absolute favourite!! I’ve never met anyone with such a warm and welcoming demeanour. Sar is stunning both inside and out. I’m really fortunate to have such a wonderful and supportive buddy.” Cute!
