And while all that’s going on, Amy’s (Jacinta Stapleton) having to navigate an emotional minefield as she starts to fear her boyfriends fancy each other more than her. But there’s more to it than meets the eye.

Harlow is also up to some tricks in trying to improve her standing at Lassiters. But has she got it all wrong once again?

Here’s what’s ahead in Neighbours.

Things get worse for parenting trio

Nicolette is angry with Aaron and David for hiding Chloe’s relationship with Leo (Picture: Fremantle)

It’s not simple for Nicolette, David, and Aaron to return to their prior living arrangements and to stick to their original parenting plan. Nic is trying to let go of Isla after being so terribly damaged by the boys, but they both live in terror that she will make another midnight flit.

Tensions between them increase, and when the pressure becomes too much, Nic cracks and says something to Jane that she will later regret. Jane is way too fast to tell Chloe, who then tells the dad, and she will regret it. Things have gotten even worse for Nicolette, who is feeling suffocated by the untrustworthy boys. Nic is on the verge of snapping again because she hasn’t had any time alone with Isla. Is it possible for her to do another runner?

Harlow ready to fight back

Harlow jumps at the chance to step up when she learns Chloe is off to Adelaide. Terese is reluctant to promote her again, but Harlow is manipulative in her bid to regain power. In order to give herself the upper hand, Harlow fakes an error on the roster to cause trouble for Chloe, and it works when

Chloe misses a big meeting. But a life of deviance isn’t in Harlow’s future as she is instantly caught out, and worse is to come for her when someone unexpected shows up.

Hendrix fears justified?

Hendrix has calmed down since his cancer scare, but he’s not completely recovered. When he is gripped by a sharp pang, he knows it must be awful news this time. He takes it out on Mackenzie, paralyzed once more by the paralyzing fear of dying. Their relationship is on a knife’s edge.

Amy’s sexuality fears

Things are strange following Amy, Levi, and Ned’s comfortable night in Amy’s flat. It’s a fight between Amy and the other two, not Levi and Ned. They give her the space she demands, but they are concerned about how much privacy she maintains. Levi, on the other hand, is still getting the brunt of the jokes at work afterword of his ménage à trois spread, and he’s fed up with it. Between it and Amy’s distance, his gaze wanders as he begins to believe the relationship is too demanding. He notices a lovely newbie and chooses to go out on a date with her.

Amy is furious when she discovers the truth. Levi is taken aback by her duplicity, but she goes on to explain why she keeps her distance: she’s scared that now that they’ve all been together, he and Ned will turn gay.

While they laugh it off – the boys say they are so not each other’s type – Amy isn’t as relieved as she should be because Levi now has his eye on someone else. Will she have to share her man?

Hendrix and Mackenzie break up

Mackenzie has reached her breaking point and considers taking a break with Hendrix. He calls her bluff and tells her it’s a good idea, much to her surprise. Later, Karl decides to take him to one side and have a one-on-one conversation with him, with Kyle joining in to assist. They give Hendrix a terrible ultimatum because he needs some tough love.

Terese ends marriage to Paul?

Terese is furious after learning about Paul’s role in Jesse’s disappearance and the dirty tricks he used to get baby Isla. She can’t even look at her hubby because she’s so disgusted. Paul wants to win her back, but he goes about it in a very Paul way with a scheme, which backfires and makes things worse.

He attempts to persuade Jesse to return, but Terese is not impressed. She has her own purpose in reuniting with Jesse, which irritates Paul greatly. Jesse unexpectedly defends Paul when he arrives in town, but Terese isn’t ready to hear it. She, on the other hand, has other ideas. Is it the end of their relationship?
